A Memorable Evening at Augustiner Bräu Biergarten

During our recent trip to Salzburg, we had the pleasure of dining at Augustiner Bräu. As soon as we arrived at the beer garden, we were greeted with the warm, inviting atmosphere that is characteristic of traditional beer gardens.

There was no free table so we asked two guys if we could sit with them. They were locals and were happy to share their knowledge of the city and the beer garden with us. We ended up talking with them for over an hour, learning about their experiences living in Salzburg, and discussing our own travels.

To our surprise, the two guys even bought us a round of beer. We were delighted by their generosity and grateful for the opportunity to connect with locals and experience the true essence of Salzburg.

As for the food and drink, Augustiner Bräu certainly did not disappoint. We indulged in delicious traditional Austrian dishes such as Schnitzel and ribs, which were served alongside fresh, cold beer that was brewed on-site. The beer was smooth and refreshing, with just the right amount of bitterness.
