American Diner in Zurich

I rarely eat burgers but I woke up and really had a taste for them. I spied Union Diner on Google maps and thought it was perfect! I didn’t end up liking my burger that much, but I loved the vibe and would give it another chance in the future.
There are two Union Diner locations in Zurich and two more in Basel. We went to the Zurich Stauffacher location.
Union diner definitely strives for an American theme and I think pulls it off nicely. They offer a variety of burgers and you can add a “menu” option, which includes a side and a drink.
I got the French Connection menu burger with a salad and a beer for 27CHF. The French Connection came with bacon, brie, rocket, and fig mustard. I’m a big fan of brie cheese but I do not think it worked for this burger and definitely would not order this again.
Sev got the Dirty Harry, a more traditional burger which had bacon, cheddar, and BBQ sauce. He also got fries and a Coke for a total of 27CHF.
Sev really liked his burger and gave it four snacks. I really did not like the flavor combination of the French Connection, but I see the potential and I’m open to trying it again the next time I need a burger fix.
