Cake for Breakfast in Maboneng

Before Drew and I set off on safari we took a last stroll around Maboneng looking for some breakfast. I was immediately intrigued by Hired Gun, a cafe that looked trendy and cool, just around the corner from our hotel on Fox Street.
Apparently the main business of Hired Gun is airplane flight training and stunts. Their coffee shop was really cute though and had some fresh made cakes that looked amazing.
This cake was unbelievably good. I gave my compliments to the manager about it. The coffee was also great and everything came to about $3.50.
A nice farewell for us to Maboneng, and worth stopping by for a snack if you’re in the neighborhood.
