After dropping off the scooter we had about 45 minutes to kill before the return ferry left. We spent this time walking around Cozumel's rather charming town square, Benito Juarez Park, and getting some coffee. Kids and adults were rollerskating around the square, which was very cute.

While searching out a cafe we were approached by a guy who wanted to sell us cigars. We said no, we were looking for coffee, and that, in fact, this restaurant right in front of us looked pretty good. The gentleman replied that we were mistaken, that we shouldn't get coffee there, and we should follow him to a better place to get coffee. A guy that worked at the restaurant overheard this disagreement and told us that he knows that guy and that we should definitely come to his establishment. An amusing start to our coffee experience.

We both ordered cappuccinos (25 pesos each) and were impressed with the presentation and taste. The location was perfect, and we sat outside where we could observe the rollerskaters and pedestrians in the park and even see a bit of the ocean. We made the ferry back to Playa del Carmen with time to spare.
