Sev and I had an hour and a half to kill before going to lucha libre so we wandered around in search of a bar. We stumbled upon HaHaHa Bar and were immediately intrigued by the sign: Drink and Snack. So us.

How could we pass this up? How could we pass this up?

The bar had a Batman theme (HaHaHa refers to the Joker), but we were very intrigued by the huge selection of beers available from around the world. There were beers from China, Croatia, Germany, Estonia, Russia, the U.S., and more. Or so there seemed. Unfortunately a few of the beers I wanted to try were not available so I settled with a Corona for the sake of simplicity and Sev had a Monster energy drink because he wasn't in the mood to drink.

The ambiance was actually reasonably good and the pop-punk music was at a very pleasant volume.

The enjoyable atmosphere persuaded us to return for dinner during the next day's wandering. Not so much because we completely loved it, but there seems to be a dearth of non-Mexican restaurants/non-Chinese buffets in town and we were desperate for a burger and we happened to be nearby anyway.

The food was a bit of a disappointment. I had the Bat Ribs, which came in buffalo sauce. The buffalo sauce did not taste like any buffalo sauce I have ever had, it was very sweet, but also very spicy so I had to drink my beer very quickly to combat the burning sensations. I did end up finishing them though and the fries were pretty good.

Sev was also nonplussed by his burger, which did not look particularly appetizing. However, it was pouring rain outside so even after we finished eating, we found the restaurant to be a pleasant place to relax and have another beer while waiting for the rain to subside.

Don't come here for the food, but if you just want a chill place to grab a beer, this is a good place to go. Plus, the beer selection really is enormous, if you're interested in trying a wide variety of options, this might be the best place in Guadalajara, although don't expect them to have everything on the menu.
