Pancakes at a Cute Hometown Diner
24 May 2022 by Amby
I spent some formative years in Venice so was excited to revisit some of my usual places. One of them is Patches, a low-key diner with a clown theme (Patches was evidently the clown’s name). My favorite thing to get here is the pancakes and they didn’t disappoint!
These big pancakes were only $8.50, and with an unlimited-refill coffee ($2.25) it was a pretty inexpensive meal. The waitress warned me that the pancakes were really big and suggested I just get one instead of two, which was really nice because I am all about not wasting food, especially when the food is so tasty.
I think Patches is really cute and friendly. Venice is lucky to have such a home-spun diner. Drop by for breakfast, although they also have a dinner menu that looks pretty tempting too!
