Pasta Stop

Even though Montreux is a tourist hot spot, the city has the same problem a lot of Swiss cities face: restaurants are closed from 2pm-4pm.
After a long day of train riding and visiting Chillon Castle, we were famished by 2:30pm. Our first restaurant of choice was closed but a guy working there pointed us in the direction of Dolce, an Italian place inside a shopping center on the lake front.
I got a lasagna for 23CHF and a glass of sparkling water for 4.90CHF. Water is always about 5CHF in Swiss restaurants. Sigh.
Bry got the Bolognese which looked a lot better. The lasagna was just okay and so was the atmosphere.
I thought it was a bit overpriced for average food so Bry and I both gave it 3 snacks. The location was quite convenient and central, at least. But really I’m just glad we found something that was open!
