Sev and I went to the Sihl City mall to look at TVs and keyboards. When we got tired we went to the Qualipet nearby and looked at the buns and guinea pigs. They were really cute!

On our way back to the tram we passed by FRANCIS: The Sausage Company. I was immediately struck by their advertisement which said they were “for snack enthusiasts.” Obviously that means they’re for me and Sev. We decided to get iced coffees because it was really hot out and we weren't that hungry.

A cute lil shop. No indoor seating but that's okay! A cute lil shop. No indoor seating but that's okay!

The guy working asked if we had time to wait because he needed to get more ice, which was fine by us. It took about 10 minutes from ordering to getting the coffee but it was no problem. The outdoor seating was nice and good for people watching.

Refreshing! Refreshing!

When we did get the coffee it was really good! I got an iced cappuccino for $6, which is pretty much the going rate for coffee in this city. Both Sev and I were impressed with the quality of the drink though so we say it’s worth 5 snacks.

They had me at "snack enthusiasts." They had me at "snack enthusiasts."

There are five FRANCIS locations around Zurich and they’re known for their sausages, which come from grass-fed livestock. I am definitely interested in trying that out so will write another post about that when I get the chance!

Here's a bun we saw at Qualipet before we got coffee. Here's a bun we saw at Qualipet before we got coffee.
