Sweet Snacks at Zug’s Waterfront Ice Cream Shop

It was a hot day to wander around Zug. At a certain point, ice cream became essential.
The ice cream and coffee shop LucyGoose is located right on the lake front of the old town, perfectly situated for a snack as you walk around.
LucyGoose is small and has no place for customers to sit, which was perfectly fine by me, as you can eat anywhere outside nearby and enjoy the sunshine.
The staffer holding down the fort that day was Tori, who was super nice and explained the ice cream options and let me sample the different flavors.
I went with pistachio and white nougat double scoop (6.50 CHF). I’m trying to be more experimental in my ice cream choices lately, and this was quite a nice combination.
They also had milkshakes, baked goods, and coffee.
I could take my ice cream and have a leisurely stroll on the lake front and past the Zug bird zoo right next door.
Certainly a five-snack experience for a hot summer day.
