The Night of Unlimited Meat

I came back from a day of diving at 5:30 pm and had only eaten an apple all day. I was super hungry and really tired. Amby already ate at the Selina but she still joined me for dinner. I walked past the Ipanemas Grill multiple times already and it reminded me of my holidays in Rio de Janeiro. I was there in 2015 with my brother and we went to multiple barbeque buffets together. The Ipanemas Grill is the same style of restaurant. There is a big buffet with all kinds of food like salad, rice, pasta, pizza and a lot more. You fill your plate with everything you want and go back to your seat. Waiters come by every 2 minutes with a new piece of meat and you can get as much as you want.
Amby got some guacamole and they prepared it right at our table and both of us got a caipirinha. I got a traditional one and Amby got one with a passion fruit flavor. They showed us how to mix the drinks as well which was really cool. The waiters came by with pork, beef, chicken, lamb and more and I tried all of them except for the big squid. After I was full the waiter convinced me to try the grilled pineapple with sugar and cinnamon. It was a great suggestion and I can only recommend it.
The Ipanemas Grill in Playa del Carmen was a great experience. If you are in town, like meat, and are ready to spend $50 for dinner, this is a great place to go.
