Three Lines on Munich’s CitySightSeeing Hop-On Hop-Off Bus

A lot of cities are home to the iconic red CitySightSeeing Hop-On Hop-Off bus, and although they are a little corny I think they can be a perfectly respectable and fun way to see and learn a lot about a city.
The busses are a bit pricey (28 EUR) compared to the cheap city metro, but it was fun to be outside and listen to the audio guide about the city highlights. The bus hub is also conveniently located in the city center, although you can buy tickets online and hop-on at any of the stops.
There are three lines of the Munich CitySightSeeing Hop-On Hop-Off busses, and we did all of them, each lasting about an hour.
It was especially convenient to have it take us to the Olympic Park and English Gardens, which we wanted to see but were further away from the city center where we were staying.
Overall if you came to the city without much of a plan for what you want to see or do, this is a good option to catch the highlights, learn some history, and plan your day.
