After a few hours of walking around admiring the Puebla city architecture we decided it was time to hit Calle de los Dulces, or 6 Calle, where dozens of candy shops line the road offering a huge variety of specialty candy.

We had no idea what to order or where to go so we were just going to wander around until something caught our eye—our usual methodology for eating and touring. We tried to go to La Gran Fama but the two customers inside the shop were taking an unbelievably long time chatting about their purchases so we went right next door to The Convent of Santa Clara.

The woman working at the counter was extremely helpful in explaining the different treats and helping us pick out a few. We ended up with five items. I'm still not sure what to call them, but I did think they were fairly good, although I'm not the biggest fan of candy or sweet food to begin with.

You really can't go to Puebla and not check out Calle de los Dulces, so we would definitely encourage our readers to stop by one of the shops and pick up some treats!
